Well Cingular sale for Nokia 6820 only. I don't want Cingular because plan is too much $$ for me.So I bought Nokia 6820 UNLOCK from ebay and I can use nokia 6820 unlock for t-mobile because plan is very cheap than any service but coverage is weak. I dont need to worry because I live in Chicago that where strong coverage.

Nokia 6820 have bluetooth,camera, keyboard, XHTML browser, SMS and AIM (aim not work for now so I try to hack to fix for later) I don't need multitask.


What is unlock mobile?

Unlock allow you use any service for GSM only whatever you want plus wideworld. If your sidekick is lock (that how you bought it from store) so you can't use any service like Cingular, etc.. If you want to use Cingular and more coverage than t-mobile so you need unlock your sidekick first then use Cingular and work great. :)

Oh yeah. Nokia 6820 much smaller than sidekick 2 and longer battery life.
 
yea i can relate that, dude. btw i am cingular wireless employee. that is why i asked you about nokia 6820.. yup cingular mobile services with these different features are $$$$ but CW's coverage is very strong. :) yet i am using tmobile sk2. i m interested in Palm 600 or 650 because i can get free mobile service under my company. i already have two free services but one is for my mom and other is for myself which is RIM 950. i havent used my rim 950 for a year since i have sk2 and i feel comfortable with sk2. but its signal is not strong as rim 950's, but it is better than NUTHIN'.

Well. Sidekick II become UNLOCK then you can use Cingular services. How sound?
 
that WOULD be nice but Cingular Wireless doesnt have what Tmobile has like the networks. Tmobile has the contracts with Danger company for the system. each wireless company has a contract with the mobile company like Nokia, Samsung, RIM, PALM, etc. like what you, neo, said about the unlock program inside the mobiles. we have to follow what mobile model is that can be activited in what wireless company's network you prefer.

Well You know gsm technology.

Sidekick II (T-mobile)-
Cellular technology-- GSM
Band / mode-- GSM 900/1800/1900


Cingular-
Cellular technology-- GSM
Band / mode-- GSM 850/900/1800/1900 (Quadband)


Both GSM technology are match so both would work great like my Nokia 6820 used from AT&T (Cingular) and now it use t-mobile and no problem for internet, sms and voice.
