sidekick 3 .... Need asking question! :)

It will support without any doubt.

SK3 works fine with windows and mac.

I use my Sidekick 3 to transfer files, Jump Screen wallpaper, music, etc.

Phillips, you probably want to wait until late this year (probably around October) when the two newer Sidekick devices are available for sale.

The answer is simply.... NO SK3 isn't supported as laptop modem as of yet. I know handful of the handheld supports this feature, and that is the one BB, Some Treo, and PC6700. The rest, I don't think so.

Does the SK3 USB would work in my linux for music file and themes into my Sk3?
It should work.

It functions as a simple directory style.

You have several folders. You simply put your specific files in those specific folders and you're done. If your Linux does that, you should be fine.

The problem with Macs is that they include additional files that render those directories (or folders) useless on a Sidekick. Ever notice how you save files to a PC disk on a Mac, then open it on a PC... what do you see? You see extra hidden files that shouldn't even be there.

Well, my friend tried doing the file thing on her Mac with her SK3... it rendered her memory card useless. She lost access to her music, pictures, etc. She had to access her SK3 from a PC at work and delete all of those hidden Mac files to make her memory card useful again.

I don't care if SK3 don't work with Mac, I'm still LOVE Mac, though.

It's Hiptop's responsible to send an CD that support sync on mac, it will work if use CD then running on iSync.
