Im sure you one of them ride on the city bus, they sometime tell you something to stop .. but you can't hear what they are saying... should they add the like caption on the top to relay what the driver say... it will be nice for deaf to read and pull to stop than watching out for the stop.

what do you think?
 
in St. Louis, MO and they have caption information where are the subway information to stop by each station. However the bus should be part of those too. It not always because of deaf. It include for tour that people is visiting as their vacation or the secret date to met across from online.

You can complain to the operator whoever responible because it didn't met your need due the ADA law that bus should provide for Deaf to award where you or I current at or stop by.
 
Well, I been rode the city buses and I have no plm being miss the routes where i want to go. I just look at map and number on bus (captioned and numbers on the bus).
 
Um, I think some buses already have that? :dunno: It's usually important to know your route when taking the bus.

:werd: Have to know the schedule. Always be there early.
 
Transit buses driver required have a stop announcments every intersections, the hearing blind want to listen a stop announments on the buses, and a new MTA train have new stop announcements signs for "Next stop - Franklin Station" or "Franklin Station - Thank you for ride on the Metro Transit!" for deaf ppls sees the announcement stops signs. and also for real-time scheduling signs for approx train arrival time..

Most deafblind ppls uses intersection stop note taker. "Please tap me to load off at Franklin Station"

On the buses -- there are no electronic signs signalling of the next stop and so forth, but the trains and trams do. :D Connex and another company who have control over the train and trams services around Victoria, have been working hard in improving services for the disabled and deaf and general public as well.
