Were there witnesses inside the house?

Rebello was in the two-story home with her twin sister Jessica, a third woman and a man when Smith, wearing a ski mask, walked into the house through an open front door, Azzata said. Smith demanded valuables and was told they were upstairs, Azzata said.
Smith, apparently unsatisfied with the valuables upstairs, asked if any of the four had a bank account and could withdraw money, Azzata said. The intruder then allowed the unidentified woman to leave and collect money from an ATM, telling her she had only eight minutes to come back with cash before he killed one of her friends, Azzata said.
The woman left for the bank and called 911, according to Azzata.
Minutes later, two police officers arrived at the home and found Rebello's twin sister Jessica running out of the front door and the male guest hiding behind a couch on the first floor, Azzata said.
One of the officers entered the home and encountered Smith holding onto Rebello in a headlock, coming down the stairs, Azzata said. Smith pulled Rebello closer and started moving backward toward a rear door of the house, pointing the gun at her head before eventually threatening the officer, Azzata said.

So it's possible that the male guest who hid behind the couch saw what happened.
 
If this is the case, then every police officer involved in North Hollywood massacre is guilty because every damn of them did shoot more than 3x and couldn't take the suspects out (There was 2 suspects). Should every of them be tried in court, eh?

I understand your concern about 8x and just wait for IAD Investigation to complete.

Yeah, I remember a case where a guy on PCP survived shower of about 30 rounds before he fell. He was shot, but he still walks and shoot shit out, so police officer had return fire several times before the last lead took that PCP sucker out.

And these two suspect at North Hollywood massacre wore Kevlar outfit, any crooks could have worn and it will take more than 3 leads to take him out.

Maybe you should buy a lottery ticket if you can predict the future :P Many people survive multiple center of mass hits and even head shots. Especially long enough to return fire. Assuming he was trying to avoid hitting the girl he wouldn't have been givin a very good target. Bullets can deflect off the skull and hits to places other than the central nervous system may not immediately stop the threat.

This is starting to sound more like, "Hey, I think the cop shouldn't have shot and fired...so let's just say he could have killed the hostage and then the cop acted too stupidly when they fired."

First off we're never going to know all the facts of this case - at least not for a long time if it is criminally prosecuted. Secondly, if said cop had killed two robbers instead of a hostage, people would still be crying the officers used too much force.

We don't know could and may have happened...the problem is it is already done...

Secondly, if people dislike cops or are biased towards them, I don't want to know about the said people calling 9/11 when they need help or expect police to protect them if they need it.

But whatever, I'll disappear out of this thread before I say something that is not appropriate.

Just wait for the investigation results. The end.

I think there are plenty of cops are tipsy in NYC and Bawsten area. They have been dealing with terrorists lately. You have no idea whether that person is terrorists and whats even worse, history shows terrorists would blow up and kill themselves plus whoever around them.

How recent was the last terrorist activity occurred?, is their investigation done? What if there is more suspects out there ready to do same thing, what if it is that same person who holds poor woman as hostage a suspect involved in Boston bombing? Sometimes, when cops overwork, and recent bombing is fairly recently.

No, you appeared to be too determined that this cop is guilty as charged. I do not believe he is guilty until 12 juror convict them before I can reasonable accept that. I hate seeing too many innocents thrown in jail.
