Hello all, I have been contemplating all the various religion out there and in fact I am quite intereste on learning some new things and docrines of these particulart faiths.

I really want this to be very respectful to one another and not turn into big reigious debate. THERE WILL BE NO BASHING OR THOSE POSTS WILL BE REMOVED.

Religion undoubtedly plays a significan roll in a majority of the portion of souls in the world. Tell me what it does to help you maintain sanity when you know there is a 'higher power' over you

If you do not believe in God or are athiest that is just fine too. my gols of this forum is for those to share there religious beliefs and particulars about their faith and how it affects them in life-------l hope this starts a wonderful forum where we can learn about others beliefs and religions- and again WITHOUT THE BASHING and negatively singling out anybody.

My church affiliation is with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Many do know this religion as 'Mormons'

One of the strongest beliefs in my religion is that our family can all be together even after this life through special sacred covenants and promises made in our Temples (do not know if people know where some of these located)

Without trying to be inacrrate with out, we believe childred achieve the 'age of accountablity' for sins at age 8. That is when we baptize and they become 'members' of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday saints.
We then hold various offices of cleargy in the lesser "Aronic" priesthood, until one worthy is ordained to office of Melchesedik Priested. This is very confusing to uneducated first.

Basically Momons believe that families can exist FOREVER, even the life after and that we will all be ressurected into our original but perfect selfs when Crist appears on earth to reain again.

There are always conduct of rules and worthyness to adhear by to classify a soul as worthy to enter into our sacred temples where special work for the deceased is done.

Also with politeness, manners, temperence, morality, meekness, humiliy the church is able to monitor its ownss

My religion is Christian. I don't understand why MOD is closed the Religion Threads. What is wrong with it?? Maybe argue?? I have no idea. I never get any post a comment at Religion because of closed. What is going on? I am wonder.
