I know I read in someone's post recently about a bed shaking alarm clock??

Although I am a 'hearie' I am a SOUND sleeper~ and often times don't hear the alarm b/c I'm so sound asleep... SO, I will oversleep!!!

Where do you find one of these bed shaking alarms?? (also it would be great for my brother who does have a mild hearing loss and frequently doesn't hear the alarm LOL)

THANK YOU :ty:

The link to the store I gave you yesterday also has vibrating alarm clocks I think... ;)

Amazon also sells several but I won't be much of help to give you advice on which one is good or not... Other people might have to answer that question for you :)

Ahhh you're awesome!!!! THANK YOU JamieLynn!! (I hadn't looked past the bib gift LOL)

I could put one of those clocks to good use, myself. I sleep thru the alarm all the time. I used to have the music alarm blasting to wake me up but even that didn't work. If you can sleep soundly thru AC/DC, you clearly need to try something else.

yes just like what Jamie said - amazon.com. Most popular brand - Sonic Alert

That's what my brother does... but since I have music playing when I fall to sleep at night it's not enough to wake me either!! I need one that grabs me and pulls me out of the bed... LOL sometimes JUST SOMETIMES... Adam wakes up before me and I hear "Bomma!!!!" being hollered over his monitor which has to be up on HIGH and ON MY BED so I hear it!! That wakes me up!!

PS. I have bf poking me awake :giggle: since he gets up later for work than I do (after all he is a late worker) ;) but I have already considered buying me one of those myself.

LOL JL... the closest I have to that at this time is my cat... she HATES the alarm and will pull my hair sometimes if she's in the room when it goes off! :giggle:

"Bomma". That is too cute. :aw:

You should try the Sonic Bomb. I heard that's quite powerful.

It's black with red designs on it.

Sonic Boom Alarm Clock

yea I don't know if it's actually more powerful than standard sonic alert clocks. It's just a copy with its color and some cute ninja sticker. LOL!

SONIC BOMB!

I have that one. It works pretty well. It's also pretty loud as well, but I have it on mute and set to vibration only.
Hahaha... yeah.

When I was a RA at RIT, I had to deal with students leaving those things on when they leave for class. A lot of them would...

- wake up and press the snooze button before leaving for class
- leave the alarm in "on" mode and then be gone for the weekend
- wake up before their alarm goes off and go to class

I would have to go into their rooms and turn it off, then leave a note for them to make sure it doesn't happen again.

There's no Ninja on it.
