Hi. I am Dave. I'm a Snowbird. I'm single, 61, and a widower. Learning Sign Language is a recent life goal of mine. I will be in Florida starting January 10, 2009. I have a condo in Casselberry. Can anyone give me some help and advice? Thanks.

to AllDeaf forum. I have never been to Florida, but I do have family members living in New Mexico in USA. Do Seniors like living in the Southeast like Florida because of the warm weather and nice beaches? I am an Elder myself, 63 and married. Never gone south for the winter. Hi Welcome,
there a quite a few ADers from Florida, you'd be suprised.
With practice using the search faciity in this forum, you can search members using keywords 'florida' and maybe giving them PM (private messages), while it is actually more polite to 'meet them' via the public forum threads as they wouldn't feel as so been stalked if you know what i mean. sorry for being blunt but its i thought good idea to let people know when they knew to this with the internet approach. It takes time. unlike how mosrt people thinks internet is instantaneous, not so with people....need to get to know them as they to do to you.
