Orange County Deaf Advocacy Center responds to the high illiteracy rate among the deaf communities. Our 'Reading is Power' literacy program is going to take some time to produce the desired results.
In the meantime, deafies can start enjoying news delivered to them in American Sign Language which eliminates some communication barriers.
