My grandma's lab who is like my dog to was brought into the vet because the first vet we took her to said she was just having small intestine problems. well we took her to a second vet today and he found a tumor the size of a fist and another tumor the size of a golf ball the cancer is untreatable and has spread far. tomarow she will be brought back in to the vet to be put down. I went to see her tonight and just fell apart she looks like she has so much life but at the same time looks horrible. it's going to be a very hard day for me tomarow. thanks for reading everbody.
 
I'm sorry to see this, surely this will be hard to go through--hang in there and in the meantime (afterwards), cherish the good memories and know how much you've been blessed to have been associated with this dog.


Will keep this 'sticky' for the time being--

I know it's very hard to see him go but keep him in your good memory.
 
Aww I'm sorry to hear that. :( I know it'll be the hardest part of letting go, because pets are like children at heart. I've took it hard too myself when my hamster died also, which my dad says it's only a mouse, but to me my hamster is not just a mouse, she was my best friend, someone that loves me as much I love her so I know what you're going through now. I wish I could have something better to say to make you feel better but honestly I don't because I'm lost at words right now. All I can tell you is that you have my thoughts and prayer as well. Please do hang in there. :hug:
 
Aww no, I'm really sorry to hear about your dog hon :(
 
I also am really sorry. We lost a yorkie about 7 yrs ago, and that was really hard, so I know how you feel. He was having repeated massive strokes that we couldn't stop, so we had him put to sleep. This was a week before Christmas in '97.

I miss him terribly. I also know how you feel... :hug:
 
I'm sorry about your loss of your dog and will be in peace. :(
 
Aww I am sorry about that and same as I miss my mom's dog passed away last july cause got huge tumor cancer in his tummy so my mom put him down :( cant fix it so now all of my family and I are miss him so much :(
 
Well she's gone they put her down this morning and i wish i could say i'm being strong but i'm not i'm bawling my eyes out everything is going to be so different in our family now.
 
My grandma went out to the cabin this weekend which was sally's favorite place to go and it was really hard she was such a big part of life out there and now there's nothing there's a huge hole in our family.
