Same price with your own parts or more??

You know that there are auto mechanics, plumbers, electricans and so on that may charge you more in term of labor if you chose to bring your own parts. If they use their own parts, labor would be less. What do you think about this?

Should they give you 2 estimates? 1 for if you bring your own stuffs and the other if they use their own parts. If they tell you labor will be higher if you chose to use your own supplies, do you think that they'll run out of business?
 
Our mechanic and other service providers that we've used don't add to the price if we provide our own parts. Some of them really appreciate us doing the running around to get the parts.

I guess it's best to ask before getting the service done. Ask, "If I provide the parts, how will that effect the total price of the repair?"
