Russell Means, American Indian activist, has died

I was cut off when I tried to type this about Russell Means. I guess it was unplugged somewhere. But I got it fix so I am back.
I have known him, not much about him, from newspapers and T.V. (later closed captioned).
He was a good activist and also a good leader (he insisted that he was not a leader). He was a lot better at being a leader than being the boss. He had problem with his vertigo and was told by doctor that he had lost some hearing which shocked me about that. He said he was involved in a fight in the bar room long time ago. He also had some trouble times in his life. He struggled trying to fight for his rights and also do the same for Native Americans. I was living in Minneapolis, Minnesota where the AIM (American Indian Movement) was stationed. He went to South Dakota to help the native people at Pine Ridge Reservation where he was born. It was in 1973. I was a young adult working in Minneapolis, Minnesota when that happened. I read what happened in South Dakota. Terrible. It is like the same for Okra in Canada.
