I like this thread, sharing stories... I recall one of a event I got into during my senior year... it was friday evening I drove to Burger King drive through... I can hear with my hearing aids but I heard a speaker talking to me as usual... I wrote down the paper what i want and drove around the building behind the cars to pay n get the food... One total bitch woman employee (look like she was hired recently when I was there) She simple wrote down the paper back to me and said we're too busy, please park and come in and order. When I read the note, my face got red and I shouted at her that I want my food, she said please move... so I end up honk my car continuous until that woman ran to get her manager to come to see me. I told the manager how bitch she is to deaf people like me. I'm a customer who is hungry and want to eat something so i pay their service in order to get food. The manager apologized, gave me the food, and told me the problem will be taken care of asap. So I decided to park in the parking lot and watch the drama from my car. She was fired and she saw me but in time I drove away before she can hit my bumper... what a total *bleep* lol
That was an awful experience for you with the cashier. One good thing about your experience though, I am glad to see that the manager took control of the situation and did the right thing.

Geeze, that's an awful experience Nozobo, I had my share of those fast food drive thru myself before.....and it not a good thing to go through, I believe they need something else beside those speaker box..if they can't take our order at the window...

They always seem to have those lime excuess how busy they are, afterall they don't notice that they may be the ones who are slow themselves heh...

I've never had those sorts of problems - don't know why, but I reckon I was lucky to have been treated alright as a paying customer. I was always treated nicely whenever I went through a drive through at a fast food restaurant or needed assistance at a shop. They always had a friendly person to assist me.
So sorry to read on all others's dileminias. :squint: @ those rude people.

Rude Coach grr grr

OoooO! Lemme tell you some interesting story...

During my senior year as I was signing up for basketball season. As I was waiting to sign up... the Variety coach came up to me and beckoned my interpreter to come and said to me "You have no chance of being on the Variety team and if you do get on V team, you won't be playing much." I just stared at him and was fighting to keep back my tears because he was right there few inches from me threathen me to just drop out because I wasn't on the "cool" team which was Variety and I was a senior. I signed up anyways ingoring the coach's rude comment. I just wanted to have fun playing basketball... what was wrong with that? Anyways during the first few days of try outs... of course I was on Junior Vairety team... my JV coach asked my interpreter... "why is she playing basketball when she isn't on variety team and she is a senior? I don't see a point of her playing." After my interpreter told me what the coach told her... I confronted with my JV coach and said simply "Look... I don't care which team I am on... just as long I get to play, to enjoy and have fun playing basketball." My JV coach gluped and had me on starter for the games. :) Ha, I proved them some how! It isn't all about winning... it is about having FUN playing! :) That was why I was there. :) I never won a game that year, but it was one of the best year I ever had regardless :)
