Yesterday, someone woke me up at 8 am to tell me that I was stuck with continuing my RA duty for the rest of the day until 5 pm instead of the usual 9:30 am.

Why?

Apparently, RIT was closed due to severe ice weather warnings from the news.

The rest of the day was just light rain and ice.

I did manage to get some nice pictures and thought I'd share them with you all.

Look nice pictures. here got that ice on the trees it is so look pretty. I took pictures yesterday and today :lol: that got ice on cable wire, tree, on my stairs of handles. I went outside and took careful cause of the stairs can be ice but did shovel and it came back again argh! lol and Yesterday I almost fell off on the ground twice whew ! cause cant see the ice on the ground.
 
Yep! I haven't take picture of the ice storm yet but I should have. My poor jeep was covered in ice!!! And DHB grabbed the hot water and pour it to melt it! :ugh3: So I can use it! LOL!
 
Shit, power just went out about 10 minutes ago thanks to the ice storms here in south Texas!

Icicles has formed on my roof!

It's always pretty but I worry about the trees.

its bad idea to pour hot water on window cuz it can crack it.. :eek3: i hope dhb didnt pour on window, didnt he?? i pray he didnt...


its ok to pour on doorknob.. but never on window.. just thought id let u know ok.. :)
 
I am aware of it, I m just using hot water from tap, not stove! and I just slowly pour it down, the ice was about half an inch thick, won[t hurt the glass itself BUT if you pour hot water directly on glass the other side where the ice is, then it will crack for sure. So far nothing happens. :-D

Wow! Awesome pics. It's something we don't alway have in the West Aust. We get a thin layer of ice on the windscreen of the cars early morning during the winter and we get frost sometimes too.
