The last roll probably will be processed sometime next week.

RIP Kodachrome Film - Yahoo! News

Sad about it. I have some 35MM SRT Minolta camera and telezoom lens. I will bury all of them. :(

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i still have film somewhere and I will have to go to Walmart to have it develop

I knew everything would go digital in the future, I just didn't realize it would happen so soon.

I don't think I've ever seen or used those stuff since I was, what, 7-8 years old? Lol. I never print pictures anymore. They only take up space in your room if you don't intend to frame them. I just store them in my USB and in some online album in case USB gets lost xD

people still frame them nowadays? whatever happened to printing it and taping it to wall? :dunno:

framing's more elegant than just taping to wall. Bit too tacky just to tape to wall unless you're just that desperate. Lol.

desperate? more like being practical and awesome.

So there goes the Kodak and 35mm films and cameras thus the likes, wow!

Gonna dump my 35mm camera into my RIP storage box where the TDD is.

The digital cameras outperforms them anyway though I need to buy one asap.

Wirelessly posted (Samsung Captivate (i897))

I print and frame pictures, not that much of big deal. I store my digital photos on my dvd-rw and usb flash card.

Years ago I made picture frames from old barn wood.....hard to find these days.....around here, anyway and I'm not looking that hard....

That went the way of using old car seats as a couch and a wire spool as a table.:giggle:

If you start making them again, I'll buy from you. I have a piece of needlepoint framed in barn wood, and I love the look. My house is kind of cabin rustic. Seems like all you can find these days in frames is either too ornate, or just the ultra modern sleek black ones.

I thought about converting an old stump or a rain barrel into a coffee table. :laugh2:

You know, I have seen a couple of those, and they really were attractive. The natural textures and patterns in the wood were used really effectively. But that is something different from an unfinished wire spool.:P
