Resident Evil 5

I noticed it's for Playstation 2. Did they ever make the fourth game for the Playstation 2?

Well Resident Evil 4 is only goin to be exclusive on GameCube for awhile. Sony has already said before the release date for GC that Capcom will be workin on the PS2 version as well, due to many angry PS2 fans that they demand the fourth RE game and don't have the gamecube or anything, etc...

so it will arrive on the Playstation 2 near the end of this year.
however, I've hear rumors that the graphics with textures will be reduced about 5% less detailed than the GC version, because the graphics chip for the PS2 isn't as strong as the GC's graphics chip...lol.

I had read some reports saying that the body polygon counts will be slashed in half or more for the PS2.

Imagine the difference.

yep. the GameCube's graphics is about 30% better than the Playstation 2's graphics.

proably would be abit tad pointless bringing Resident Evil 4 to Playstation 2 if they aren't even abit identical.

anyway, they said they will make another title where Resident Evil 4 left off...does that mean that Leon will appear again in Resident Evil 5?

if so, I kind of thought that Claire Redfield, Rebecca Chambers or Jill Valentine would be back in Resident Evil 5... :D and Leon would be a total player! lol

I really hate Code Verconia...I know many people assumed that game as the best Resident Evil game ever made...but for me, it was too long, too hard, and too complicated, etc...nearly took me 4 years to completely finish that game lol.

Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil 2 are just the best I've played for GameCube and Dreamcast. :thumb:

P.S. I've heard that Albert Wesker is back in Resident Evil 4...and some people thinks it's the merchant that is actually Albert Wesker...is that true? I don't really know...since his accent sounds really funny. *rubs chin* and he's supposed to be the bad guy, as well.

I wonder what kind of graphic chip PS2 use? I know Gamecube use ATI graphic chip. Every GC consoles had ATI label under the mermory slot 'B'.

One more thing to add to Resident Evil info, I read about new PS2 RE multiplay game will be release in March 15. Its title is 'Resident Evil Outbreak File #2'. I dont think you might interest in that game.... :dunno:

To tell truth, I dont play any Resident Evil games....horror games isnt one of my top favorite genres. Perhaps at least I could give a RE4 a try...if I had a job.

you NEVER played any before?

dude, that means you gotta try the Resident Evil remake for the GameCube.

excellent and charming graphics, along with great storyline and two brave characters throughout the two discs of the horror/adventure title best to be one of the player's best choices for the Cube.
Resident Evil Zero is even more awesome, since you got a back up parnter with you throughout the entire adventure, as well. two is better than one, right?

Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 ports are already on GameCube now...as they were on Playstation and Dreamcast years ago...Resident Evil 2 was great and I loved it.
but Resident Evil 3 was abit corny and not exactly as much action as I expected it to be.

Resident Evil Code: Verconia is on GameCube also but I really hate that game. lol

Resident Evil 4 is proably one of the best I've ever seen and played so far since Residetn Evil 2 with so much actioin, thrills, and suspense. It's quite an action packed brawler that no GameCube owner is allowed to go without this shit. ;)
