back to topic: I honestly do think that we need to change something here, but I would like to clarify a bit about what I think.
If the parents want to live in the States forever and have children here, then I don't see why their children can't have birthright citizenship. HOWEVER, I don't think that having children should entitle the parents permanent visas in the US. I think the primary thing is to enter the country LEGALLY and then start a family. This would probably save families from needless problems.
If parents flew into US and gave birth to their children, then went back to their home countries, I dont think their children deserve birthright citizenships.
I guess it depends on a case-by-case basis. I might want to live in another country and so on, but I would never dream of doing it illegally. Why do people have to do it illegally?
