Edwards served as the Senator for North Carolina from 1999-2005. He has not been a Senator for the past three years.

Edwards is not a current candidtate for President.

He's still a lawyer.

He did not lose his job.

No offense but he should lose his job as a husband!

Ditto! I personally don't care about Edward and McCain's adultery because their private matter should not be treated as a political issue but my point is:

It's disappointed because the private issues should keep private between famliy, not to the public in the first place.

I can't get why can't medias ask McCain for his opinion of adultery or nobody interest about his adultery but whines about Edward's or Clinton's affair?.

I have to disagree because the rule of journalism is this:

If you are a public official whether a movie star, politics, or any other position that seeks the public eye--you will always be under scrutiny. That includes one's behavior.

If you are a private person--you don't seek the public eye, you will be pretty much left alone.

Does that make sense?

That is why the public knew all about Clinton's affair and now, Edward's affair. Because both men actively seek the public eye, even though they both didn't want their affairs to be known.

..and if they dont want to be embarassed publicity, then dont engage in these kinds of behaviors!
