Yeah, DC has some of the best OTA television in the country. Multiple PBS stations+all the networks in sparkly HD. My neighbor upstairs gets Al-Jazeera. :hmm:

I don't have antenna and like I said before - I don't watch tv much and I don't need to watch tv for this State of the Union speech when I can simply read the transcript online.

it's not really that important to watch it live.

Oh so do we. We watch Al-Jazeera fairly often, actually. Also we get some Russian station that has features about how tough life is in the U.S. because of the terrors of capitalism.

Always good to see different perspectives - especially interesting when they take articles from the New York Times as their starting point and then expound on them further.

To get back to the SOTU speech: there was a good article in the Washington Post "Fact Checker" column today, by Glenn Kessler. He pointed out several areas where Obama was fudging or stretching the facts, or skating over important points of context.
