I can't find the comment that I thought was being talked about , but it was not your comment!
I did not feel like going back to my emails to anwer back.

Oh, good! As you can see my feelings are very strong and the same as many people who knew survivors of the camps.

Other than the fact that I am in terrible pain from my eye disease, I am fine.

I may be more ready to snap, but I do mean what I say.

And you neglected to note my posts you quoted, were formatted exactly like Beowulfs big emotional manipulation of how he believed gthe people he knows.

Mine were true from my upbringing

not just this thread... ijs

My father was a POW for almost two years and he doesn't sweat the small stuff.

A lot of famous fairy tales started out as horror tales. Just that you know...

Look at the endings. Many still are.

In fact, the whole purpose of fairy tales was to metaphorically educate and warn children about the consequences of various actions.

Thanks. I am not trying for sympathy, but I don't care how many people don't like me if I can make sure people remember who were the victims of WWII.

My family has several victims of WWII. My mother's family who were German Jews, and my father (American non-Jew) who was a soldier and suffered greatly from the things he saw and had to participate in.

My friend has a set of grandparents who were sent to camp because they were Germans LIVING in Poland. They didn't want anything to do with Nazis. So they were sent to camp because they were "opponents of the regime". Yet another group of victims. Ugg.... And I just learned about Rape of Nanking not too long ago!

Stupid history.

I hope in the future, the "history" consists of less violence and more of "lessons learned" for different types of politics, different types of economic reforms. Basically, work our way towards "utopia" without any violence. Seriously, violence is STUPID.

Same here! It sound like she feel sorrier for the citizens than the people that were killed in the Holocaust! I hope this not true! I has uncle that was a FBI
man and he hunted down Nazi that committed war crimes!

 I think her point was very much the opposite.

It would be wonderful if everyone embraced this philosophy.

Same in my family, although not exactly the same relatives.
