Remember.. This horse stuck in tree

Could have been a lot worse! Yesterday my stud colt managed to get his fore leg over his lead rope when he was tied. Luckily for me he didn't fight it. So I had to get him unstuck. Never could figure out how he did it either!

I didn't read the story yet. Is it something that will make me sad considering how tender-hearted I am about animals ??

Before Phillips put the story. The young horse got head wedged in a tree trunk and was stuck sitting there. It got rescued.

The new post shows the horse today with her family. She is kissing the father, if you call it that from a horse. She looks happy.

Thank you. I did hear about the horse that got stuck. So with your post I went ahead and watched. The pictures of the horse stuck in the tree were disturbing to me, though. It's just me! I'm glad she got out okay.

Wow lucky!!!! I do remember worked at Barn. I found the horse lay down in the stall. Horse's hoof got into the halter! I called the owner and Her husband come and knife to cut the halter to free her! She was good calm! Whew! :ugh:

Last year, when I spent a whole week at the barn because one of my horses were colicing.. A two year old I had in training rolled over and cast herself in her stall. Luckily I was there to help her out. I went into her stall, tied a leadrope to her hind ankle and pulled her over. She didn't fight me which was good, seeing she weighed about 1200 pounds!... Afterwards, she gotup and looked at me like "So wheres my food?"
I then went back to tend my sick horse. lol!

I didn't know that the horse story was all over. I first heard of it in the February issue of Reader's Digest few weeks ago.

I just finished reading it. Poor horse! I am SO glad the horse got out OK. Thank goodness!!!!
I love horses. I rent and ride the horse all the time (either on the beach or in the woods... ) and also I sometimes bring foods for the horses.

Mud is so dangerous for horses. We lost a colt one year. He slipped in the mud and broke his neck. It was horribly sad because he was such a good baby.
