Remains of Star Trek's "Scotty" Heading for Space

Hmm... finally, the famous catch phrase becomes true!

I was rather disappointed to learn that Gene Roddenberry’s cremains were only in orbit for 11 years before they deorbited. It would have been more appropriate to launch them into deep space, but currently available commercial rocket trajectories wouldn’t have permitted that.
