I was used to attend that church assembly of God long times ago.. I heard that true story, Her name Kathren brown who was Governer of califoina, her brother which i forget his name but my aware his last name was jones.. anyway he was leader pastor who ran the assembly of God.. anyway his followers who submitted him and he told alll followers of Assembly of God, gave up everythings and sold their stuffs then all follwers left the U.S. of america, flied over cuba, pastor and followers drink posion, he killed his followers and even he committed suicide himself too.. but two black people who were followers of this man.. they did actually went there with them. they deicded to refuse to drink posion. they watched alll followers and their pastor drunk the poison as same time, then all suddenly died.. that is true story what i heard..

I remember the event when it actually happened. I remember the horrible pictures of piles of bodies, including hundreds of children, rotting in the jungle. I am afraid you have many of the facts mixed up.

Jim Jones was the cult leader. (Real name James Warren Jones)

In 1978, U.S. Congressman Leo Ryan went to Jonestown to investigate supposed abuses by the People's Temple onto its members. After staying for a day, Ryan tried to leave, taking four of the cult members who had decided to defect. Realizing this, Jones ordered them killed, as was done. Sensing that his utopia in the jungle would surely come to an end after word got back to the states about Ryan; Jones decide to put his suicide plan into action. Telling his subjects that it was a "revolutionary death," he had a large quantity of fruit punch laced with cyanide prepared. After making all 276 children at Jonestown drink the punch, all the adults proceeded. In the end, after Jones apparently killed himself with a gunshot to the head, 914 people had died.

As you can see, none of this was related to Assembly of God.

No problem. It is easier for me to remember events because I actually lived thru that time. It is harder for you to remember these events because you only read about them, so they are not real for you. That is how the mind works.

Anyway, No.. it's not harder for me to remember that events. I once believed in newpaper's article included picture. but I never forget picture, Pictue were real for me. I can't remember full specific of infomation detials what newpaper said.. it was long time like 9 or 10 years ago. Anyway The links you gave out, I read it in more deeply details and more pictures made me chill and even not comfortable, because they are real story and realitic events.. as look at Once Waco, Heaven's gate, others created their own cults killed followers already.. I just see them being just mental illness and confuison about God or something else message than scriptures.. You know what? Muslim are mental illness and killing muslims and non muslims too. because they are ACTUALLY created cult itself that they denied it that their religion is cult because they keep to kill people, abuse their wives, put childern's suffeings mnay reasons.. they think islam is supeior than anythings and religions.. muslims AND their islam are pathetic!!
