Regular eggs 'no harm to health'

Well, I went to health conference at several years ago. It says that we should eat 3 eggs a week... if more than 3 eggs is bad for cholesterol level... I *raised* my hand and questioned a lady that I am egg lover and eat eggs awful alot... 7 or 8 times a week for YEARS, my blood result show that my cholesterol level is very good... She was like  and was like to not beleive me but my friends confirmed her that it´s true.

Again, I was 5 week spa resort in October 2006 - my cholesterol level show very positive and again last October 2008 - blood test again due thyriod test - it shows the same...

I ignored and continue to eat eggs a lot because I can´t live without them...
:laugh2::laugh2::laugh2: I would love to see her :eek3: face at you. LOLOL See - YES the egg CAN contribute to high cholesterol level but how come not you? many factors to consider:

Factors that eggs can contribute to high cholesterol level:
1. how the eggs were produced (from egg factory and junk that chicken was fed with)
2. how the eggs were cooked (with high cholesterol oil & salt & etc.)
3. what the eggs were eaten with (along with other high cholesterol food)
4. who the eggs were consumed by (a person with high health risk)

Obviously - Liebling's health is good and her cooking is healthier than most. She can eat all the eggs in the world and still have a clean health record. btw - I eat egg nearly everyday and my cholesterol level is brand-spankingly-clean as confirmed by doctor 2 years ago.

I think you get my drift.

Some people are luckier than others...
I have known some people who eat high
fat type of food and yet they do not have
high cholesteral! I think its something to do
with their genetic makeup, really.

quite possible! but the biggest factor - it's because they exercise. hint hint - Michael Phelps

Yes, exercise helps to lower chorlestrel.

Michael Phelps' 10,000 calories/day
Breakfast: Three fried egg sandwiches; cheese; tomatoes; lettuce; fried onions; mayonnaise; three chocolate-chip pancakes; five-egg omelette; three sugar-coated slices of French toast; bowl of grits; two cups of coffee

Lunch: Half-kilogram (one pound) of enriched pasta; two large ham and cheese sandwiches with mayonnaise on white bread; energy drinks

Dinner: Half-kilogram of pasta, with carbonara sauce; large pizza; energy drinks

oh lordy lordy! that's the fast-track way to obesity and massive heart attack for couch potato! :-o

ouch... that's kinda heavy for his height unless he's got a large frame. drinking raw egg is not recommended unless you're a professional (or hardcore) athlete with strict, intensive PT routine

Drinking raw eggs? :barf:

I can't imagine myself drinking a glass of raw eggs, ew.

Oh dear lordy,....raw eggs?? :barf:
..give me a break..eww.

too much eggs, not good in my opinion, really
and i dont care if a person exercises himself
to extreme everyday, it is still not good for your
system, high fat, high cholesteral type of food
still not good for your health, period. Thats what
my doctor tells me and i believe her.

raw eggs! That is nothing, this guy is more pro than raw eggs:

(the youtube clip is from a movie) ;)

My feelings too!

Bread wasnt good for you, now it is.

Fat free foods were good for you, now they are not.

Meat wasnt good for you, now it is.

I just say "f**** it all" and eat whatever I want in moderation.

:werd: That's the problem with studies on dietary habits affecting our health. I've yet to see a study that is consistent.
