"NYPD supervisors have been put on red alert: Don’t discriminate against carrot-top cops!

An anti-bias message went out this month to Manhattan sergeants and lieutenants, who were told that redhead harassment would not be tolerated.

“We’re apparently victims now,” said one cop with ginger locks. “We’re protected from discrimination.”

No lawsuit has been filed against the city, but the feds say a claim alleging unfair treatment over red hair would be supported by federal law, which bars workplace bias against applicants and employees based on race, national origin, skin color, religion, sex or disability...."

My family were red-heads....and my sisters had beautiful hair!....Seen a few red-headed Cops too...Feel most of 'em are called "Red"....Oh well....

My mom had long, wavy red hair when she was young, light skin with freckles, and green eyes. She never mentioned anyone teasing her for it. Her brother and dad also had red hair, until they went bald. She had red-headed nieces and nephews, too.

Not a darn thing wrong with being a "red head"....the freckles are cute too. I was the "odd ball" of the family, having blonde hair, born a "cotton top"....and was teased about the mailman being my daddy a lot.......And my brother was called "Red" a lot, even in the military.....And one of my sisters even put Henna on her hair to make it more redder.....
