Reciently diagnosed SPHL and looking to meet new friends

Hello i was just diagnosed servierly profound hearing loss (in both ears). I am 25 i know very little asl but still learning i first notice hearing loss at 11 and was given a hearing exam in school too im really new to this community looking to learn asl and gain new friends who like simular music and movies to the original poster stay strong im the same age with simular story cool how everyone is so open to acceptance. Re: Learning ASL while you still have time... I've never had an ASL class in English. All of them were voice-off, and any clarifications were written down. I've taken ASL 1-4, Advanced Conversation, Translation, Structure...they've all been purely ASL. You'll be ok on that front.
