I am not sure if this is right place to ask.

I am looking for portable DVD player to travel with. I must have battery, plugs (outlet and lighter socket). If you own one, what kind, where at and how much (about) did you paid for it? Does it worth it? I wanted to get right one and last us few years.

I would like to have that before June 19th. Since we'll be traveling to West and my son is very RESTLESS kid since he is only child...:) So movie is the only option to calm him down and enjoy the movies. He also have Leapster to keep him busy as well. :)n
 
I do have portable DVD. Well I love the best Qwster, i have no plm for 3 years. 2 times spill milk in it from my son, and nothing plm and i was surprised, It was damaged from car accident. So i have to buy other one

I have bought 2 tvs but one dvd portable from Walmart. I forgot what name of it. we been use it one year, no plm with it either.
 
you can find in walmart it should be least 200 dollars sumthing i saw one i wanted one in future! :)
 
You could go to Target, Best Buy, Wal-mart, etc to research and find what you like the best. Find one that you like on your budget. Also, research online on review sites to see what people say about them in bad and good.

My son has one, and I brought it for him for Christmas It was on sale during the holidays season, It comes with recharger, remote control and outlet socket for lighter. Yes, It is worth it. My son loves it and even Jordan uses it too to watch his movies. ;)
 
ya know, you can always check out the Ebay. They might have it for cheap.

I bought one for my daughter so she can quit bugging me in the car while we're on the road. lol

its Phillips portable dvd player. it cost me around 130 dollars. it comes with everything. I had to buy a case to put the dvd player in to prevent from getting ruined. It also has subtitles in it too.

EDIT: might I add.... I bought it at Wal-Mart
 
Thanks everyone! I don't wanna buy from E-bay. I'll go Wal Mart, Target and Best Buy and see which is best for us. :thumb:
 
I brought one from my second son, he's been begging and begging us to get him that for Christmas, everytime I say " maybe we'll see " and he would keep asking again and again.. Now that he got one from Christmas, he's been one happy boy since then LOL..


I would say it's worth it because now my other two wants one too LOL!!
 
:rofl: I am planning to buy one too since I will be on the road in July to NY. Now that my son is bugging me about getting him the ND game system for his coming up birthday. Pulling my hair out. LOL

My sister and her husband bought small portable dvd player for their kids to use for travel, etc...they bought it from Toy-R-us store...their kids loves it!! All you have to do is charge the battery then take it with you in the car to enjoy watching dvd movies in the car! or at anywhere!

It shouldnt be that expensive...Good Luck!
 
I think it is worth to buy portable DVD player for some kids to calm while they are on travel by car or bus or whatever.

my friend's daughther does have it. She loves it and use alot when they are on the road for some long hours.
 
I got it! :applause: I got it on sale but they were out of it. SO I got the rain check and forgot all about it. Till I got the gift card from Karla. So I used that and also bought new George Foreman grill too! WHOO! I loved my new portable DVD player! My BF said what for? I told him duh! Traveling! He gulped! ROFL! It has plug, car plug (the one plug into the lighter), battery but it didn't last..only 2 hours, oh well! Also remote and bag go with it. It is really nice!

Anyway, thanks for all the feedbacks! I happened saw it on Target Ads and got the rain check till last week, I got it. WHOO!

its not $200, it cost 1500 here in nc at walmart :dunno:
