It's so too much for me... Recently, I went to Grocery Store.. I open my mini file case with coupons in....

I was glad that I have a coupon for that item but its Pass expire by date

So Seem I have to clean up my mini case of coupons every week to rid of a pass the expire of coupons?? :squint:

Need FYI and save my times :D

Hello Philips,

When you see the expiration date. you write it down on the calendar that will help you remind to get it and bring coupon with you. So, that way you don't have to look it in the mini-case to check on the expiration date.

Hope that helps
Peace

Yeah... I'm a cashier. Lots of my customers get angry when we can't take expired coupons. Its silly, because grocery stores have rules and regulations to go by from our vendors.

i have a 3 inch zippered binder as my coupon keeper---LOTS of expired!!!! but worth the hassle when i save more than i spend!!! just try to go through them every two weeks or so! it helps me, maybe it will you too!

Then that means the store paid for it, not the manufacturer. The cashier accepted the expired coupon in order to preserve your loyalty to that store, perhaps? Next time, feed all your expired coupons to your goats! Lol....

Unfortunately, I do not have goats... :hmm: Can I borrow your goats? ;)

I used to have a coupons but I stopped using it.

If I was you I would sit down on Sunday morning and go thru the expired coupons and then clip out the new coupons from the newspaper.

I used to be a cashier. I had to refuse a lady's coupons when I could see that the expired date was cut off. The expired date was along the top so all she had to do is to cut the top off so the expired date is completely removed. Grrr, those people like to cheat.

A good way for me is to write my shopping list before I go to the store. Once I know what I need, I get my coupons out and see if any of them will work. I put them in an envelope after checking the expiration date and take them with me, and my list. Then, once I check off all on my list, I can present all the coupons knowing they are good. Saves time and hassles at the store.

I usually forget to take the coupons with me.:aw:

Start keeping them in your car like I do.

I also keep my foldable plastic box in the trunk for a certain store where I have to bring my own bag/box.

You also could put dividers in the coupon box and divide the coupons by month. That way you know which coupon will expire soon.

That is a good idea. I have a folder by my chair and I always collect and organize the coupons. I guess I should use an extra step and make sure they go with me.

And we do have the cloth bags that we keep in the trunk for packing our shopping. :)

I always use a grocery coupons. It's extra saving the money. I always get every on Sunday newspapers with ad and coupons. I cut the coupons and put in organize coupons folder. I threw the expired every first months. You have to attention on expired date and put on your shopping lists and date. It will help you remind. My mom was a good influenced me how to use a coupons and extra saving at grocery. :)

I love to go grocery! I didn't like the plastic bags. But I can use it for toilet's small bin and vegetable & fruits with stem and leaves put in bags. Because my apartments have disposal. It's leasing office rules and not allow use a potato skin peels, stems, onion's peeling skin, meat bones and seeds in disposal. I have my own grocery re-use bags.

yea i use this and every sundays newspaper havemany coupons so cut it and keep them if i need it hehee

Many time, I use coupon with expired date. They have no time to read date. Most time, they accepted. It worked.

Well, I was cashier at grocery and not suppose allow unless it's day away from the expire, it's up to the manager who will allow or not and yet, will lose few cents.
