Question about TV Tuner card w/ CC?

if you have MCE, you need upgrade Rollup 2

if any TV Tuner Card with MCE2005, no CC but you need upgrade Rollup 2 will get CC

I have HTPC Silverstone LC03V ( Http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-lc03v.htm ), it is beautiful smooth case. ATI Elite Wonder (Theate 550 chipset), on MCE2005, work CC but no soild black background!!!! also not bottom but little middle screen, I need CC is last screen

cool ! do you have media server ? or put all DVD movies into ur pc and watch them with ur PC ?

you mean Media Center Extender? I don't have it but cost $350
only one MCE2005 alone
 
no you dont need the ME extender. just hook up ur tv with pc or laptop.

i do watch the movies that are streamed from my PC on my laptop in kitchen or any room and i can watch movies on tv that is connected with the laptop from regular PC thur the wireless network.

54G wireless is better for movies.

hey, I am wrong spell you say "MIMO" or correct is "Moxi" http://www.moxi.com/ ?

Moxi cost $4.95 months, becuase Moxi bulit-in Hard Dirver, I don't like it, I want mown DVR, it is free no months same MCE2005. Moxi is nice multi-font, size, color that my friend have it

if you dont have mce2005 for tv recording, you can find several softwares to have tv recording on your pc or htpc... i have been researching some interests which are beyondtv, meedio, and some other freebie softwares...

i believe MCE2005 is a better program for home entertainment. i have to wait for window vista.
 
i found another hdtv tuner card with CC.

MyHD PCI HDTV Tuner/Decoder Card - it is now popular tv tuner card on market today. it can tune to analog tv or cable.

Yes mce2005 Have tv recording. click MYTV->click Guide->what you want choose movie, etc.. click it then open click "Record", it is ready

Awesome, you must have nice system!! And thanks for telling me about ATI Elite Wonder.. But one thing, you mentioned about CC.. little middle screen?? Is it possible to move CC all the way bottom? I wouldn't buy if it's in pretty close to the middle.. Also, you said no solid background, do you mean almost same as PowerDVD? It shows only WHITE letter without black on shade right?? Or can you do whatever what color you want on fonts??

i do hope these hdtv tuner cards have both digital CC and analog CC.

RHR do you have hd channels ? if so, how is CC on hd channel ?

Yes, Text is white. Background is grey shade but no solid black background

MY TV CC is big size than MCE2005's small CC
 
Hey, I wonder about Leadtek Winfast TV2000 XP Deluxe.. I heard it's a bit better than ATI Elite Wonder... But I wonder will this have CC?? And how about MSI Theater 550PRO: Based on ATI's latest TV Tuner technology?
