Question about TV Tuner card w/ CC?

great news is that myHD card can work with digital CC(EIA-708) and analog(EIA-608).

however i am not sure about tv recording w/ cc. :dunno: i wish i can get it now but my money goes to my wedding. *wah wah*

I think ATI HDTV Tuner can both Digital and TV but can ATI HDTV Tuner and ATI Elite in HTPC, YES!!!!, MCE can any MULTI ANALOG, DIGITAL, and HDT any!!! if you want four TV Tuner, MCE 2005 will show four screen, if only Digital card and Analog card will show two screen on MCE2005

no, I am stnndard TV, I will wait new HDTV need more font, size, color, only Sharp and HP, i want 1040P but it is expenise $4,000 or more, next year will down price.

I need more MFC have CC Options, but only two Sharp and HP
I will wait more next Jan, Feb, March see see

good. i do hope ATI hdtv cards do work with HD channel. i havent tried on that yet. i just want to buy a right HDTV card with digital CC.


yea we did talk about that hdtv. we have some disagreements over which HDTV has digital CC and analog CC. i better back off on that issue. :) just chill out :smoking: .... however i do plan to get SHARP AQUOS hdtv for my den rm hopefully. i think it will be great for a den room with large windows.

if you want buy ATI HDTV Wonder can put computer out-TV or VGA no matter, I use MCE2005 Out-TV, I look good but switch Windows XP, not good, I use Remote Desktop to MCE2005

Ouch.. It looks really bad.. I understand what you mean about grey shade in background.. Sounds like it's transparent.. It's like you can see through the background.. Anyway, which one is fault? ATI or MCE2005? For showing on 5,6,7 lines?

both ATI and MCE2005 but ATI is driver, MCE2005 is program

ATI Elite Wonder don't have ATI Multimeida but only CyberLink PowerCinema ATI Edition don't have CC

Bummer!! I'm still wondering is it really ATI problem or MCE2005? I wish anybody else would answer do they get 7,8,9 instead of 5,6,7... ;)

I wish Closed Caption Tweak program, like more options, size, font, color backbround and forground, non-soild or soild

yeah, but they never send me or forum about CC, they don't interest CC that I sant them about three week ago long, I am mad becuase they don't care for deat and CC

Should ask bill gate if he can build better new CC!!! so can easy record movie then burn dvd voxsub/subtitle cc/HQ !!!hehe I have found manys files Subtitle in site web!!:)

yea, that is how i feel for few years ! i am not keen about the tv tuner cards with CC. but i am about to build HTPC this coming spring. probably two HTPCs. one will be in den room. and other will be in my master bedroom. also i plan to make my old PC(p3 450mhz) to a media server with about ~600gb hdd. it should be fun to do these...
 
I have one Media Lounge D-Link DSM-320 i havent try open power yet! was bought Last month ago!
Is media loung can record movie to our server?

no, i dont think so it can do tv recording. it only streams anything from your server.
