Question about buy a car

Hahaha, you must be funny!

You forgot, 18 wheelers, plus Trains, 98% of them runs on Diesel, howcome they would transform to electric in merely 5 years? You must be funny!

I really think they should have hybrid Semi trucks like they do with trains. A diesel generator feeding electricity to the traction motors to drive the wheels, why not do that on a semi truck? It could be done for sure. It might get lot better gas mileage that way.

Semi truck still stuck with diesel and no way to use electric because not enough for torque and not enough for long trip. Right now Biodiesel is better for mpg and clean.
Right, forever. Transports are the most important on the roads and seas where
we depend on the goods.

What about a biodiesel? I heard that it works very well for diesel cars and trucks.

I would support Hydrogen fuel cell!

I think Hydrogen is second most abdundant matter in the world, meaning it will NEVER run out secondly, it can be recycled so easily so again will never run out, and finally there is no carbon in there which can screw the environment.

Seriously, Hydrogen fuel can easily produce out in the desert where there is tons of sun to split Hydrogen atoms from Oxygen (Water). And when used though fuel cell vehicles, it goes back to water. Cool!

See my thread about hydrogen big rigs...

Just want to have heads up about this as some of you mentioned about future big rigs...feel free to comment there. :)

Is it good idea to own VW Jetta? I had heard about high maintenance cost and how does high maintenance cost looks like?

I'm going out to look at cars today and will buy by next week.

I decide to forget about VW Jetta because of not want deal with high maintenance cost.

I'm looking for some varies cars, such as Chevy Impala, Dodge Avenger, Dodge Stratus, Ford Focus (after 2008), Honda Civic and few more, additional I just want be less than 50,000 miles as well.

What about this Suzuki Crossover Sx4 (Automatic)? It cost $18,000 which included most features in it. MPG 22/30 depending in the package like FWD and AWD. The gas is not that great. It would be nice if it has 100 mpg.

I can't afford to buy any car that has 100 mpg if it cost 40 to 60 thousand dollars - forget it.

That would be good choose but I wouldn't buy if you plan drive in winter where salt because they get ROT fast before you say DARN.

Have 1 before it was my favor car Suzuki tracker could get 28 mpg.

Hey Have you look at Ford Escape Hybrid? They get 30 mpg easy

Perhaps, if he cares about his new car, he would wash it off at a car wash shop.

Last year or two years ago, I met a woman at a grocery store, and she drove a Ford Escape Hybrid. She wasn't satisfied with her truck's mpg. Maybe, she bought her lemon truck. I have never seen inside the truck.

Last year, I read a brochure of a truck has no key to start the motor, and a driver has to press a green button to start up the motor. I think that it is a cool like the old days that was not invented in car keys.

I have bad day because bank declined my loan application because I don't have credit history, that's all fucked up.

I'm not happy right now and gonna struck with gas guzzling car.

It sounds like bank don't respect to anyone who live in cash, usually, it has little or no credit history.

NO

problem is you have ZERO credit score you need work to get score. I have Zero score so I just gave up and bought cheap car that I could afford.

Problem is you refused buy cheap used car.

I got 94 Geo tracker for $600 I get my money out that in 2 months on gas.

You could get cheap used cars under $1,000

It's not easy to find cheaper car in my area and I'm not going get cheaper American car with ridiculously high mileage, such as 150,000 miles because I don't know about any risky with this car.

150,000 miles is fine for V6 or V8 like i said in first post.

Try asking a close relative to get a co sign for a car loan to get a good car. You need to promise that you can pay the loan month to month so you don't ruin someone's credit history. I'm not sure if that will build up credit history by co signing. I have seen really old 1980's Japanese cars for under $1,000 with over 200k miles on it. Some of them have less than 150k miles on it, if you didn't have much of a choice. You can also get a used highway patrol police car for really cheap too but the problem is abuse and it guzzles gas.

What city you near or live? I mean BIG city

My 1993 F350 I got for $400 it have HIGH miles 298,000 but bad engine. I put another motor and rebuilt transmission so I spend $500 in F350 and it on road.

Last truck I sold was 89 F150 that have almost 300,000 miles it still running. Why I sold it was too much rusty for me plus it was plow truck all life.

If you live near I would have help you find good cheap used cars. Many times I try buy but found lot stuff that I don't like. color of oil or transmission.

Have you talk your parent if they could find used cars for you.

If someone sell me HIGH miles car that have 200,000 if it was cheap $600 if nice shape I would have buy it.

One more thing to add. A good example, my friend bought a 1996 Toyota Tercel for ONLY $1,000 and it had over 220k miles on it and it runs good. I believe it has a new engine because I see some numbering marked on it. One time, it was leaking coolant and it was a small hose for the heater near the engine and he fixed it by modifying it and used a junk hose and it works fine since.

What about the first time buyer plan?

When I first purchased a brand new car when I was 22 years old, they allow me to go for the first time buyer plan without a co-signer, but you'll have to put at least $3,000.00 down, depends on how much is the car.

I forgot to mention about my post, I did let aunt to sign the co-sign yesterday and got denied too since she has great credit score.

I'm thinking about try different bank or other dealers.

It has something with credit crunch or bad economy?
