I have this similar type of alarm clock. My wife has the same one as we both have two.

Question is, do you have one of these?

If yes; have you ever plugged an external lamp/light to the clock to give extra visual flash when the alarm goes off?

If yes; how did you set it up?

Thanks,

I have Sonic Alert that looks like this...

... but it's black. (Earlier edition was black. Later edition was white like shown in picture above.)

Anyways, it also allows a light to be plugged in. I used a clamp-on desk light at the edge of my bed to wake me up. It makes me wake up quicker because if I don't, I'm gonna get a nasty headache.

One CON about this alarm clock design was that they made the snooze button smaller than the light button. (Image shows yellow button is light and blue is snooze.) General alarm clock design makes the snooze button the largest button on the alarm clock. This is a flaw in a lot of deaf alarm clocks. :( When the alarm goes off and I'm trying to press the snooze button, I sometimes accidentally hit the light button. Doing that doesn't stop the flashing. It just reverses the flash pattern, but it still flashes and I'm still banging away for the snooze button. :(
