Don't forget to wear the color purple in remembrance of those who committed suicide after suffering the cruelties of homophobia on October 20th, 2010.

I'll do that! (if I remember) it falls on a work day. I wonder if people at work will know what it would mean... :) I work with mostly old conservative men!!!

If all else fails wear a purple ribbon and let them ask. I plan on wearing a purple shirt and a rainbow belt. I can't wear purple ribbons on the line but I may wear temporary purple hair dye that washes out in 2-3 washes.
 
How about purple bra or underwear? :giggle:

Too bad no one I see at work (so far) is wearing purple too. :(

I remembered. At the moment my husband is shingling the house, but when we go out he will wear his purple UNI ball cap.

I don't know if anyone in Iowa will know why we are dressed this way, but we are doing our share.

Im wearing a purple shirt today. I will have my daughter wear purple as well.

You are correct! In addition to us, I really only saw one little old lady in a lavender button down. And I think it was just her favorite color.
