I have been reading more about PSP lately, and more people are pointing out that Sony has been beating around the bush on the battery life for PSP.

This is an example, and I'm just letting you know just in case you are interested in PSP. If I were you, I'll wait till the official word on what the battery life is.
This may end up having the same fate as Sega's Game Gear and Nomad which had the same problem... battery life.
By the way, Sony just screwed their Playstation 2 customers and developers big time. The new PS2 model won't work with the hard drive. I can see SquareSoft being really furious with what just happened. They spent a fortune on the Final Fantasy XI game which used the hard drive. The 70000 Series (PS2 - Slimmer Model) replaced the original PS2 model designs meaning you can't get a new PS2 that is the same model as the original, just the slim version. People won't be able to play Final Fantasy XI since it requires a hard drive on the new PS2.
Such a pity.

lol though they already did release their first FF title for the gamecube months ago, and I think it sold pretty well, right?
