Pregnant at 11 years old

:( There were things in that article that kind of bothered me, like how her mother was looking on to her daughter so proudly, after her daughter lit her third ciggie? She shouldn't even be smoking in her condition. The lifestyle this 11 year old lead, that is way too young, my God, most 11 year olds are in bed by 10:00. But, she seems to be handling her pregnancy well, and doing things for the baby's room. I just hope she can handle having a baby once it's born, because they need so much care in their early life. I wish her the best of luck, and a lot of prayers.

What happened to girls used to play with Barbie dolls, play with little pony ,rainbow brite dolls and Baby dolls those kind toys at 10 years old and boys play with game boy or hot wheels?? they should be enjoying thier CHILDHOOD Not a alive babies or left alone S E X !!!! I pray that my kids never do this until they are OLD enough to do that AND OUT OF COLLEGE! :pissed: what s wrong with PARENTS today? some dont give (bleep) about thier kids?? if they dont then dont have children!

You can't undo it, so you might as well face it with your head up high right?
Yea she is too young, yea she maybe easier to give someone else the responsiblity to raise the child but you know I think she is going to do just fine. Infact she is doing what all mom-to-be does, she is looking after herself, educating herself, and has awesome support behind her..

Shame on the mother for letting her daughter run wild and using illegal addictive substances like smoking etc.

That girl should not be smoking period. Hope the baby will turn out normal. But I expect the child'll have low to average IQ and some behaviour problems, but who knows.

I bet she'll get a big shock when she finds out what Motherhood's exactly like. Not a easy feat like she is expecting.

While I wouldn't necessarily agree with "out of college" for all people if they're over 18, I agree with your overall point. When I was 11 years old, I still needed help from my parents with caring for a CAT--let alone a child!

AND even adults who don't feel ready for a child shouldn't rush it. That's not fair to the child who has to grow up in that kind of environment.

Yeah, I wish mother let her know that baby is not same as doll.

I feel bad for her...
 
how can a girl at that age and even nine carry a baby. at the age isn't their hormones a little out of whack that it most likely causes miscarriages.
