All the school were at lockdown at 2:15 yesterday.
Buses were suppose to be loaded at 2:45pm and on the
road by 3. I called at 3:16 when I noticed a Sheriff's cruiser
go by and four heilicopers overhead.
I called my middlest's school, they wanted her name, what grade,
what teacher that she had and what my name was.
No one was leaving the school inless parents picked them up physically
one by one from the office.
A 32 year old police officer was shot while seeing some supscious activity two blocks away from our home. Going to investigate it, two teenagers shot fire hitting him in the neck and chest. He was able to return fire. But as emergency personales arrived he was DOA.
My landord is a cop, and his family is taking it very difficult. The cop leaves behind a wife, a son who is 9 and a 7 year old daughter who celebrates her birthday today.
Please pray for our community, it has been a major shock to all of us. We have never seen such violence in Windsor, ON.

What a sad and terrible thing to happen to this policeman. He served, and protected his community, only to have his life taken away so soon. His life will not be in vain, as he died performing his duties that he loved so much!!! I pray that God will comfort his family during their sadness in the days ahead!!
