On Sunday ( Easter Day ) He has redness above his lips inculding his cheeks, our other sister thought it might be sunburn which it did look like it, then when Roadrunner picked up my second son at your house on Monday, he came home and went right to bed, I didn't noticed until the next morning when my little one woke me up, about his arms were hurting him, then when I had to check on my second son and oh yep it look like he was alot worse than his little brother, check and make sure none of your sons have poison ivy, it will look like a spot of redness rash then sometimes it doesn't spread in one place it will pop anywhere on the body, arm, leg, face etc whatever your children may itch, if you're not sure, Ill have Roadrunner stop by to check for you...

I must have got it from both of them or one of them ....

Oooohhhh ouchie, ^Angel^!!! You got it too? I'm glad your boys are doing better and you'll get better too soon! I know its not fun at all. I never had poison ivy but I've been around it, touched it but never got it. (knock on a wood) My ex boyfriend had it and ended up going to the dr because it shut both of his eyes so they had to give him a shot.

Hope you get to feeling better soon and don't scratch!!!!!

I often tell my boys to wear full pant and sleeves and cap when they want to go forest. It's not Stinging Nettles, I'm worry about but ticks. I also tell boys to not go outside with barefoots because of ticks... Poison Ivy? I didn't know...

In your country.. You may not even have any or very few of them in your country.. you can ask a dr if you have some around your area. In the U.S. We have millions of it.

what kind of ticks do you have in your area since you seem to take it seriously? I worry about snakes than ticks here.

Yes I will find out either we have Poison Ivy here in Germany or not. I didn't know until Angel brought this subject for a first time today. It got my attention... I will check it... I was like wow...

We have different ticks here in Germany.. They live most in forest than garden.

Check Angel's thread at link then you will understand why I took it serious. tick bites are most dangerous... I would worry both snakes and ticks if snakes is around here in Germany. tick bites are serious and dangerous....

Yes but not bloody one but yeah the redness rashes look just like what we have...

I didn't actually touch the poison ivy myself but I got it from the kids when they still had the poison ivy oil on their skin and that can cause others to get it too....

I know there's one that can be dangerous is the "rocky mountain ticks"

It can be dangerous.. it can be a matter of life or death situation. as for other ticks, I'm not really cautious about those. as long as you take the tick out of your skin properly.. make sure the nose is out too. if the nose break, it can lead to sickness. I would be concerned too but I just don't have that fear for ticks.. I grew up in the woods all my life. I guess that's why i'm not afraid of it.. but I'm terrified of snakes!

Ouch Angel, hope you and your boys recover.

I have once touched poison ivy when walking thru the forest in Canada, but never got the itch *knocks on wood*. As I never knew that was an poison ivy until Canadian friends explained it to me.

Yeah, we're alot better than before but still have those redness spots, and it still itch too....

My second son is home from school today cause he can't stop itchy, so I am using something else to see if it will help him a bit more...
