Pit bulls loose in the neighborhood

Well, I had posted about the stray dogs (not in so much detail) on our subdivision forum and FB page. Mostly, I was hoping that someone could identify the owner, and how to contact the owner.

Well, apparently the owner read my post. According to the owner's post, Animal Control caught the male dog early this morning (not true; residents caught the dog, early afternoon). She said that the only reason the dogs attacked the cat was because it swatted at them (umm, that means the dogs were already in the cat's face and threatening); also, I saw that cat get chased with my own eyes.

The owner also didn't mention the jogger or the man with the dog that I saw attacked.

The owner also didn't mention why the dogs weren't wearing collars, and how they got out.

Those dogs roamed several blocks for at least a couple hours, and terrorized several people (I saw them) but the owner makes it seem like no big deal.
 
Pitbulls are very sweet, that's what Pitman472 at DVTV said. He also said that the owners of pitbulls are to blame when those dogs are getting dangerous because they are not well-trained. I don't believe that bullshit. All pitbulls are dangerous whether they are well-trained or not. They are born to kill, IMO.

I disagree. They are not born to kill they just get a lot of press because people get them for either fighting or protection.

It is true you can get killed by a pit bull, but you can also get killed by any other dog too.

It is an aggressive dog to other dogs, but it's a poor choice if you want a dog for protection against people. You'd be better off with a doberman or a Rottweiler.

Dogs will kill cats just as cats will kill birds it just a fact of life.

I hope they are able to catch them.

Pitbulls are dangerous and smart, not like any other dogs because they know how to kill by biting one's throat with powerful jaws (like what big cats such as lions, tigers and others do) while other dogs usually bite one's forearm or leg.

Don't you notice that alot of people get scared when they see a pitbull around and they don't get scared when they see other dogs around? It's because they don't want to get killed by a pitbull. If I see a pitbull around, I would look for a nearest tree to climb up.

They did finally catch them. I couldn't believe how skewed the stories told by Animal Control and some of the other residents were. I saw with my own eyes what happened, and spoke directly to those involved but some of the posts made on our subdivision forum were not the truth (to put it mildly). I'm afraid some pit people are simply in denial.

Because the owners don't want to be sued. I watched Judge Judy on TV many times and most of the pitbull owners said it's not their fault. That was unbelievable, even though the judge always decided that they were guilty.

Another Judge Judy fan!....Yeah, she has given Pit Bull owners hell, especially if they have children in the home....
 
Southern pitbulls may be more likely to come from fighting stock since they were breed for fighting for generations. I read a book years ago about famous pitbulls and the fights they won. By now the breed down south has been genetically altered to be s uper agressive and vicious. I don't. Believe you can offset this genetic dispostion only on how nicely you treat them

Unless I misunderstand your comment, if I treat them nicely, they won't bite me? Fuck that shit talk! Some pitbulls even hurt or kill their masters and/or children factually. They can go wild unexpectedly, even though they are trained. The owners like to show off, that's what I think.
