I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, but why does America have to be so infatuated with celebrities' personal lives? It is not uncommon for American social groups to join in on gossip and rumors, especially when it involves those who are in the spotlight (and shouldn't be). It's this kind of bullshit that made a no-talent, spoiled rotten hack like Paris Hilton into a pop-culture phenomenom. Celebrities are human beings just like you and me; not the gods that we hail them to be by putting them on a pedastal and glorifying them as deities. If you appreciate a celebrity's work, then show that appreciation with a few kind words, but buckling at the knees when you see them in public is just pathetic. Who gives a shit who Nicole Richie is dating, or that Bruce Willis has a cold!
 
Celebrities are public figures and are great gossip fodder for me to chew on...I think its man's nature to be nosy about his neigbhors lives like we modern ppl do with famous people. :cool:
