PFH and Mister Potts poker night.

I was dealt Kh Qh Qs Jc and a 6s. I'll keep the queens after this betting round. I'll be aggressive.

Aaron has a minute-man syndrome and already tosses two cards in, giving me some information on what cards he might be holding.

I raise to 300. He calls.

I discard three. I get As Js 5c. I'll discard these again. Sticking it to him with a 500 bet. (pot is 1,100 now, he can reraise to 1600 if he wants, putting me in a tough position)

He's taking his time thinking, and folds.

(I took a peek at what I would have gotten on the draw, Q was one of them.)

I deal, and I get quite the variety of cards... Not sure with these cards... Queen club, 6 club, 9 diamond, 3 spade, 10 spade. I'll call and discard 6 3. See what Matt does. And Matt raises. Max bet. 200 on top of blinds. I'll call.

He discarded 3 cards. So he must have hit a pair. I just hit a pair too. 9 heart and 6 diamond. He raises 500. I fold.

I dealt myself Qs Js Jd 9d 5s. I call the blind, he checks.

He discards two. I discard three. Pot is 200.

I get Kc Ad and 7h in the draw. Blah.

He bets 200, I call. Now pot is 600.

He discards two while i discard three again.

I got 9h 8h and a 4d in the draw, he bets anything near pot, I fold.

He reaches and bets 500. Guess what i'm doing.

Matt deals, I get 3 diamond, queen club, 4 club, jack club, 2 spade. I'll see if I can't draw the flush. Matt calls. I'll check.

Matt discards 3 cards. So at this point I'll see what I draw and be aggressive - see what Matt does. King spade, 5 diamond. Matt calls. Well, not like the pot's big in the first place...

He discards 3 cards again... 6 club and 8 diamond. One card away from hitting my flush.... I'll bet again. Let's see. Matt folds.

I get dealt Ah 8h 6c 4h 4c I'll keep the A44 for the heck of it, see what happens.
This poker thing on the laptop is different because we're both focusing on the laptop instead of the game and us. But it is proving educational because we are paying attention to the chip amount and other details we don't really think of.

He calls, I check.
I discard two, and he discards *whistling jolly the green giant tune while he decides......* three.

Aha, I get an Ac and 9c. I bet 150 into the 200 pot. Not the best hand in the world, especially for 3 draw, but let's hope he doesnt have a made hand because he drew three. he could have been holding a pair and hit his set in the draw- then I would be in trouble.
He calls. Now pot is 500.

I discard one, the 9c. And he discards one too.

I'm thinking he has two pair too. Will test him on the next draw.
I get a Qd. I'll bet 300 to be safe.

he calls.

We both discard one again. I get 3d. Not too big of a deal. I'll bet 400.

He is thinking about raising. (Hes counting the pot again.) He raises me another 900.

pot is around 2800 at this point, and its 3 to 1 odds for me to call.
I think he hit his draw. Annoying but a harsh reality. I'll fold.

I deal. I got 6 spade, 2 spade, 7 spade. 6 heart, 3 club. double gutshot straight draw, 2 cards draw for flush, mid pair. Nothing great. But I'll call with the pair. Matt checks.

I discard 3 and Matt discards 2. Wow. I got all hearts. So I'm drawing one card away from flush now. Jack, 2, 5. Matt bets 125 into a pot of 200. Interesting. 375. That's 1 to 3. I think he's just testing me. I'll call.

He discards 1 card and I discard 1, so to draw for the flush. Damn. lowest pair now. 2 club. Matt bets 300. I'll call. Last chance.

I hit my flush. Matt's up. And he bets 400. I bet nearly the max. It looks like Matt's thinking about it. Most likely my baseline behaviors and/or betting patterns as well as pot odds. Hopefully he either calls or double my bet.

Damn. He folds. Oh well. I should have tried to confuse him.

I get dealt four hearts, topped off with a King. K, 7,5, 2 hearts and a 10 spade. I have three draws. I will play this very aggressively.

I raise to 300. He calls. Good. I can put him into a fix.

I discard one, he discards three.

I get a 5diamond.

He bets 500, I reraise to 1100. I think he has a set. (three of a kind)

He calls. If he throws out two cards, he has three of a kind. But he threw out one. (two pair, obviously or hes drawing too.)

I get a 3 spade.

he checks. I bet 1800. he goes all in.

He has a full house. Yep, a two pair into fullhouse.

nice pwn.

2 diamond, 3 heart, 9 spade, 10 club, 10 heart. Matt raises max. I call. I'll discard the 2, 3, 9. And what do I get... Niiiiiiiiiiiice... a pair of ace and jack. Ace diamond, ace club, jack spade. I'll raise here. 500. He doubles my raise. 1100.

I call. Discard the jack.

Hit my full house. Ace heart. I'll check here to see what Matt does and try to take advantage of it. Matt raises. Perfect. 1800. I'll do max bet. I said all in, he insta called.

Looks like Matt failed his draw. I win the second round.

I deal. 10, 8 spade. 7 5 heart. The suits are good, the strength is not good. We'll see what happens when I call. He raises. 400 altogether. I'll call just to see the pot. When he said he was raising he was a little unusual in doing it. Raise and a bit of exaggeration of strength... Flop is Jack heart, Jack spade, 9 club. I have outside straight draw. Matt bets 800... Max bet. So it'd be 1 to 2... I call due to the unusual behavior. 6 heart. I now have flush draw and straight draw. He bets 2000. I call. Fail on both front since the river is ace spade. No flush or straight. Let's see what Matt does. All in. I fold. No question.

Bad news for Him, I'm going to play like Dwan. Extreme aggressiveness. (that hasnt been working for me tonight)

I get 4c 8c 8h 9h in the hole. Nice flush and straight and trip opporunities!

I raise to 400 preflop.

the poor sap calls.

Pot: 800

flop 9c Js Jh. I bet pot. Let's see if he has something to call this with. If he does not have a jack or massive outs he should not be calling.

I have the option of lucking out and getting a boat, straight, or back to back flushes. he calls after thinking for a bit.
Turn is 6h. I'll bet hard again.
I make it 2000 to go. He calls. River is an ace of spades.
I think that 6 helped him out well.
fk it, lets see. I go all in, he folds.

I get Ks Ts 5c 4s. Not the best hand for omaha hi. I raise to 200 to fatten up the pot in case I get a good flop.

And the guy calls. pot 400.

Qh, 4h, 7c on flop. Ewww.

He wanted to bet 800 and realized there wasnt that much in the pot, and I know he doesnt have much, nor do i. so I will fold.

7 diamond, king heart, king club, queen club. Matt came out firing aggressively. Once again I find it unusual, so I'll call. Flop is 7 club, 4 heart, queen heart. I'll raise aggressively to see what Matt does. 400. Max. He folds.

4 spade, 9 heart, 2 heart, 9 club. I'm dealer. I fold. Like hell I'll play Omaha hi with those.

Jh 7d 6c 4d. I call blinds to see the flop.

He checks, flop is trash Qd 9h 2c. if he reaches for his chips im done.

and he does. I knew it

Matt shook his head when he looked at his cards. Which means he did not get impressive set of cards. I have 8 heart, 3 spade, king heart, 10 spade. good suits. semi decent strength. Matt calls. I'll check.

Flop is 2 club, queen diamond, 9 heart. I have inside draw for straight, double draw for flush. I'll raise the pot. 200. He folds.

Wowowowowow tom dwan would love this hand

Js 9d 8s 7d. Imma go all out.

He calls, i reraise the pot, to 400. ::stares at him::

He calls, of course.

Pot 800. Lets see the flop. fk.. A 3 5 rainbow. As and 3d is the only thing i like...
wow.

I check
He checks. Theres another spade. 2s. I'll check.

He checks. The joy.

River is a queen of hearts. I missed everything by a mile. I check.
He reaches for his chips.. POT size too. i lol @ him and fold.
