where? but I smell lies
This is a classic example of the "If the AP said it about Palin, it must be true" fallacy.

so "If Palin claim something, it must be true", right?

Enjoy the lies. :)

"Going Rogue" Fact Check: Palin's Book Goes Rogue On Some Facts, AP Says

And this one is so hilarious! We pay Alaska more than what we get from Alaska!

"PALIN: Describing her resistance to federal stimulus money, Palin describes Alaska as a practical, libertarian haven of independent Americans who don't want "help" from government busybodies.

THE FACTS: Alaska is also one of the states most dependent on federal subsidies, receiving much more assistance from Washington than it pays in federal taxes. A study for the nonpartisan Tax Foundation found that in 2005, the state received $1.84 for every dollar it sent to Washington."

Harharharha! So much for "libertarian independent Americans!"

so "If Palin claim something, it must be true", right?
Of course not, but the AP squandered all their credibility in regards to Sarah Palin last year. I don't remember how many emails I sent them that went ignored. A cursory review of this fact check, like what I just showed a few posts ago, indicates that once again, they're desperate to find something to criticize, whether or not it makes sense or is based in reality. Here's a response to this piece from Conservatives4Palin: Conservatives4Palin.com: Fact-Checking the "Fact-Checkers"

That phrase is becoming over-used.

Just because it sounds good doesn't means it have to become a cliche.

Perhaps he smells fecal bacteria from his websites?

I heard some of what Palin wrote and it did not sound like to was too hard to write! She wrote something about gaging on her toothbrush and some other trash !

So you got no response from AP? Why would they answer you? I assume your emails were derogatory towards their reporting, and you are waiting for them to type a reply? Seems like a lost cause. Imagine I write emails to Limbaugh, calling him a hate monger, and asking him to respond. What are the chances he replies to me, even if I send 300 messages?

Interesting idea; posting a link to such a biased-named website. If you are garnering articles from Conservatives4Palin, and calling it fact; or using it to back your claim that a news agency, that has been around longer than anyone on this website, is not credible? Not today. I am not buying your brand.

And how is mocking him is suppose to get him to discontinue using the phrase before it becomes an AllDeaf cliche?
I stand by my words. You think anything short of assassination or Impeachment will silence the shrill cry of the anti-Obama movement? They have over 3 years to go, minimum. It is just getting started, IMHO. Ignore me if you wish. I argue for respect of my country's leader. I do not support him completely, but I will support respecting someone as a human right.

Just as credible as CBS was with the Killian memo in the famous but fake memo, "memo gate", about a supposed National Guard memo about Bush in 1973 when it was proven to be a fake by little ol Little Green Footballs website that made CBS a total embarrassment and showed Dan Rather to be the complete fool and idiot he was?

Little Green Footballs - The Smoking Memo
Little Green Footballs - CBS Killian Document Index

Learn a bit of history on that and you can appreciate the fact that big news conglomerate can collapse on their own stupidity in a matter of weeks.

We're talking about Palin, not CBS.

"Schmidt now joins a host of former McCain staffers, including Mark Salter and Nicolle Wallace, who have challenged the veracity of Palin's book even before it hits the streets on Tuesday. One McCain aide who worked closely with Palin and who "liked her personally" described Palin's account of the campaign as "blatantly and absolutely inaccurate."

"To read Sarah Palin's shockingly shallow Going Rogue, one is immediately struck by how nasty and vindictive Palin is, and that her book is little more than a veiled mechanism for settling scores with old foes who have triumphed over her throughout Palin's lifetime.

Is Palin really going rogue? Hardly. Getting even is more like it.

Palin's biggest score to settle is with those senior advisers--Republicans all--in the John McCain campaign, on whose shoulders Palin lays the blame for her failed and tortured debut on the American political stage last fall. Most notable among them, of course, is "The Bullet," Steve Schmidt, who took over McCain's teetering campaign in July of 2008 and was a staunch advocate of Palin's selection as McCain's running mate.

He has told the Huffington Post that Palin's allegations against the McCain campaign are "total fiction."

Geoffrey Dunn: Schmidt Calls Palin's Memoirs "Total Fiction"

A bunch of McCain aides are saying that Palin's not telling the truth - all Republicans and you're telling me that they all are lying?

They probably are lying. Who wouldn't just to cover their own boondoggle of a mess they made afterwards?

Oh? They are responsible for the bad Couric interview? :)

I'm seeing lot of "probably, maybe, coulda, woulda" in your posts all over. too bad you can't even come up with a shred of evidence to support your statement.

So you got no response from AP? Why would they answer you? I assume your emails were derogatory towards their reporting, and you are waiting for them to type a reply?
Because they're a large news organization and I'm a customer complaining that they're not living up to their own journalistic standards. They portray themselves as unbiased and yet they don't give their readers a fair shake. It's no different than writing any other company to complain about their shoddy products. I usually get a reply when I complain to companies in any other industry. Why should the news industry ignore their customers?

Seems like a lost cause. Imagine I write emails to Limbaugh, calling him a hate monger, and asking him to respond. What are the chances he replies to me, even if I send 300 messages?
Rush Limbaugh is one pundit, not a large news organization, and he never pretends to be unbiased. Do you listen to his program? If not, you're not a customer and if so, it doesn't make sense to complain that an openly conservative commentator is delivering conservative commentary.

So we should automatically dismiss a defense of her just because those defending her like her enough to call themselves Conservatives 4 Palin? Would you really expect a defense to come from WeHatePalin.com? At least they have the nerve to own up to their bias, unlike the AP. I posted that as a counterbalance to the AP article. It's what Palin herself linked to on her Facebook page, so consider it her own defense for now. If you find a problem with their facts or logic, feel free to address those.

By the way, being around a long time doesn't mean they're good at what they do. Just ask Bear Stearns or General Motors. But as I indicated earlier, it's mostly on Palin related matters where I can't trust them. I still do trust them on other things (although always with a grain of salt).
