I've been to Omaha, Ne. a few times although I'm not really aware of what events or activities that this city may have...I do know that there used to be a school for the Deaf located in Omaha, but I believe it was shut down or closed...although, right across the border in the state of Iowa,(actually, the two cities is almost connected to one another) there's a small town by the name of Council Bluffs and there is a state school for the Deaf located there, perhaps you might have better luck if you were to venture over there and ask around...I'm sure many people there will know of several events or activites in Omaha that you would be interested to check out...Good luck!
I was born and raised in Lincoln , that is an hour away from Omaha. Yes there is deaf events and clubs in Omaha. There is Omaha Assoc. for the Deaf (OAD) there as well. They meet every second Saturday every month I believe.
