Oh, no! My car died!

Did u forget to change sparkplugs?? I remmy that I drove old 1989 Mazda 323 and I got lazy for not changing sparkplugs and it was waaaaayy past 20,000 miles (I let it go over 50,000 miles or so).. I drove on the ramp to highway then my car died. I tried to start and it sputtered and died again. I had AAA towed over to my house. I worked on engine and found the sparkplugs had no gaps on it!!!! Oopsie! I bought new sparkplugs and my car ran fine after replacing. I bagged old sparkplugs and sale receipt then took it to work next day to have "documentation" to prove why I missed work yesterday. My boss approved regardless it was a funny way to prove it by bringing old worn parts.


Maybe ur car sparkplugs might be needing replacements

cattys suggestion uis a good one, very probable, and whiloe at it, just get a 'tune up' it might involve belt replacements too.
but talk it over with garage sparks and then belts, (to be really sure nothing will go wrong), i hope youve be check your rad water level once a month , take a peek before starting in ther morning, wgen warm/hot its too dangerous..

cheersso its like water>spark plug>belts then if those doesnt hwlp you'd know its more serious
 
you might want to talk to the mechanic about changing your timing belt. I know that got nothing to do with the problems that you are having. I believe that the timing belt need to change every 50,000. Read the manual.

Some cars do not need change timing belt. Since it use timing chain. It'll last the life of the engine. So if you don't see anything on manual, Ask the mechanic. Be sure mechanic is honest. Also you can always ask Dealership of the car you own and they'll tell you if timing belt must change or not.

hope that mech isn't using coat hanger, glue and tape to fix ur car in hillybilly way. :rofl:
 
They say my car overheated - so they added water. And luckily I made it across the state line without any trouble - WHEW!!

Thank you all for your suggestions and ideas.

When I get money from my new job, I will take it to a trustworthy mechanic for a good check up and have the mechanic to look at everything. I'll keep ya'll posted.

If I didn't have kids, I would sell this car and get a pink Harley. :) VVVROOOOOOMMM!

Just get a sidecar and cute little helmets for the kids. And drive slow.

Now we know it ain't bad - just lack of water, oh boy! But definitely very cheap for deafbajagal to make her car run for now. :ty:

no i wasn't drunk, just a bad keyboard it needs replacing and sometimes my cat would sit on my lap making it difficult to reach full view of keyboard ( i dont touch type) and id be forced to type with one hand (cat sits partly on my one arm) and i'm tired
 
Ahh it makes senses then G with the cat being on your lap and making it hard for u to reach the keyboards plus it totally stuffed. Time for a new board eh!!
