You only get $603 a month. It means you will get about 7,236 a year. That is really low and the workers will make 3 or 4 time more than you make.

I know sometime it was hard to get a job but it will be much better than what you earn from SSI or SSDI.

I am happy with my job and I can pay my car payment, rent, some credit card and I can save more money to my saving account. I know bills is sucks but that is the way for living......
 
You can't own business. The bank and insurance will turned you down because you don't earn enough money a year. You gotta have to pay the bills, invoice, and etc. It's not fun.

My sister and brother in law own business and they have to pay lots of money for all of the stuff. But they earned the money when sold the items.

With SSI/SSDI it won't be easy to buy nice house.
Be on SSI for all life, expect to pay rents ALLLLLLL the way to burial plot!
Get job, buy house, and pay off before retirement... Meaning NO rents during retirement, and get SS check three or 4 times more than those with SSI/SSDI! and that makes very comfortable retirement!
Only sucker loser would stay on SSI for rest of their life!

I don't see how I can afford my living with SSI checks! 580 a month? What can it buy? Just a rent? No thanks!!! :madfawk:

I'm not lazy or anything...

I saw people lost their houses and everything on the news in
Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and other southern states
and even in California and northern east states...

They all cried because they work work work work everyday
to buy their houses, and everything they work hard for, then
they lose everything.

It must be devastasted and heartbreaking if a tornado
destroy your house...

And somebody steal your car, it must've hurt like hell....

I know I am thinking negative.... but
if I start working and earning good money and buy myself a house
and car and everything... and then all of suddenly it all disappear...

to do that, you need to get a job and get alot of good experiences and enroll in school to earn a degree then you can start your way up... but to start way up from SSI check monthly... I gotta... :Ohno: be scary to see you try that!
