You are SO way off base.
The Bush adminstration takes away your right to have assisted suicide if you're terminally ill. I believe that terminally ill people have the right to end their lives if they feel that they cannot prolong their life much longer, due to pain or serious mental depression.
Second, the right to have an abortion is the right of an American, not yours. And we should not take that right away. Now, the concern about a fetus still alive after a botched abortion - from what I understand, it concerns fetuses who were on the way to dying but could have been saved if we intervene with life support. I personally believe it should be left to die instead of putting life support. If you make that fetus live, he'll likely face a lifetime of disabilities and I don't think it's fair for the fetus and for the parent. I believe it should be between the patient and the doctor to decide, not the government.
Your rights are NOT taken away at all. You are the one that think some rights should be taken away because you don't think the terminally ill person has the right to end his life or that the person has the right to have an abortion. It's that simple.
