Obama is alive!!

On MSNBC it's a typo.....On FOX it's a Freudian slip
 
That's why I prefer to use last names or initials when posting. My habit, from my journalist days, is to use the last names. My other habit, from interpreting, is to use initials for well-known figures. Thus, OBL. No confusion there. :)

Both names, "Obama" and "Osama," have been used a lot in public and on the news, so both names are ingrained in the psyche. "Obama" has been the most used until this latest news, so it's natural that it would be upfront in recall.

Even the late Senator Ted Kennedy was recorded speaking about Obama and confusing the name (more than once) with Osama, so it's not an intentional right-wing slur.

Yep. I keep reading Osama as OBama and vice versa. :P

Haha, some of us just like to give Fox a hard time. ;)

Anytime I write about the subject online, I have to proofread to make sure I didn't typo it, too.
 
Obama is alive.

Osama is still dead.
