This is totally f**kin' bullshit! This article is very long (over 10,000 limits, I tried) so I will only have to add the excerpt, here it is:

As G.O.P. Friends Wins Clinton, Her New Rivals' Task Toughens
The intimate gathering at a private home in Illinois, Chicago, was pretty typical for an upstate fund-raiser featuring Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton: dozens of donors clustered in the terrace, listening to her speak, as they sipped wine and nibbled on hors d'oeuvres.

But one thing made the event unusual: The host was a prominent Republican businessman whose brother Amo Houghton was the popular nine-term Republican congressman from the area who, it turns out, gives Mrs. Clinton, a then-Democrat, now-Republican, an "A-plus" for the job she is doing.

His brother James, chairman of Corning Inc., agreed. "When I introduced Hillary, I told the crowd that the last time a Houghton had a fund-raiser for a Republican was about 1812," he said.

With her 2006 re-election campaign approaching, New York Democrat leaders vow to rally party loyalists in a broad effort to topple Mrs. Clinton, who has now engendered deep antipathy on the left.

Addition: (Very long article, lots of rants and all. 5 pages so I made another excerpt - a-must check out)

NYTimes: Hillary switching to GOP
Hillary Clinton announced today in Chicago that she has decided to switch parties. "I think I can do more good working from the inside" Clinton said at a press conference in Illinois, "This way perhaps I can repair the Clinton reputation among Republicans".

LOL...I was ready to file my walking papers. If Hillary became a Republican, I'd have to say "I'm Out" ;)

Shes a mighty knight switching parties could help soften them up a bit. Shes like Senator Feinstein but going the other way.

If the dems cry about it, then that's too bad, dems these days are like a bunch of mad donkeys bumping into each other.
