biggest reason why NYC Mayor Bloomberg is notoriously hostile toward motorcycle community is because of this - "Hollywood Block Party" or "Ray Day" or whatever they called themselves as. I've encountered a smaller group couple of times. They're a nuisance and I nearly got killed by some idiot going past me at 130+ mph as I was about to change lane couple years ago. Way too close... too close.....

Wow, they just hold up traffic like that (first video)?

These guys give motorcyclists a bad name.

Around here, we have what I call "organ donors", and what a friend calls "Squibs".

Why "squib?"... because that's what they look like when they crash, he says.

Around here, they just fly by and don't pay attention. Weave from lane to lane, etc. They have never caused traffic jams like that though.
