Hello everyone!

Have any of you felt awkward being a new member on this website? I am! I'm currently a senior and attend North Port High School in Florida. (Planning to attend FSDB but things got conflicted) I have a trouble living in the city where I live right now...no deaf youths, not even deaf community...I'm hard of hearing, but I'd choose deaf world over hearing world due to the communication. Oh yeah, i barely introduced myself in the beginning, I'm Natalya. ;) I'd love to talk with people outside of the USA...new experience = more enjoyable life...don't anyone agree with me?! :) But hey not only outside of the USA...here in the USA as well. :)

Introduce yourself because I already did, new buddies :)

That sucks that FSDB didn't work out. How come it didn't work out? That is an AWESOME school! At least you're ALMOST DONE with high school! I feel for you. Hearing high school is not a fun place for dhh kids.
And at least you can talk here on AllDeaf. Wish we had more teens...we have two hoh girls who are in high school right now. And of course we have a bunch of us who know all too well how horrible hearing high school is. Are their any nearby cities or local meetups you could join? You know I thought FSDB has a summer camp/program? Have you looked into attending NTID or Gally next year? Or at least a school with a strong sizable dhh program? NTID would be awesome for you!
