I and my co-worker were little detailed about our co-worker, D....

The Murder happens in Atlanta

it happened last Monday night at 9:00pm..D went down to Atlanta with some friends of his and meet up with another friend of his that lived down...

well the friend that lived down there took him and another one of his friends to this house in a real bad neighborhood. The friend that lived there got out and went into this house and was in there for awhile and then came back out because he had forgotten his cell phone in the back seat and then told D and the other friend that he would be right back...

well the guy never came back but there were thoses two guys that approached D and his friend and held guns to their heads and told them to give them everything they had, so D gave the guys his wallet and cell phone and then they took the keys out of the ignition and had D pop the trunk...

when they found out that he really didn't have anything like cash on him they beat him and his friend in the head until D slumped over then the guys threw the keys back in the car and told the friend to drive off and he had to actually sit on top of D because he couldn't move him.

he drove until he saw a crowd of people and told them he needed help but by the time the police and ambulance got there... D died...

the autopsy showed he died of a heart attack...

Does it sound fishy to you ?? Any comments of above this....

Also, there is another possible maybe fits this....

well the first story I heard was that he was robbed and got shot in the head come to find out that he was notshot in the head but beaten in the head and he wasrobbed but he was in the car. but yeah the autopsy he died of a heart attack. the trauma to the head probably caused a stroke which was followed by the heart attack...

We been detailed about that and our co-worker killed.... we were upset and shocked yesertday when we heard about him.... Today, we are doing okay and hope to see his body in wake/funeral when he bring back to St Louis from Altanta... Thank you for your thoughts

Wow mizzDeaf IM sorry for ur loss of ur friend, hope there is a soultion to this im sorry this happened...

MizzDeaf - I'm so sorry about your friend/co-worker.

I'm trying to think if this was on the news or in the newspapers. It is hard to keep up with all the murders going on all the times in a city like Atlanta.

Did they find whoever did this to your friend/co-worker?

Mizzdeaf,
First, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend/co-worker. I often believe that its not always up to us to figure out why things happen the way they do, especially when it comes to such tragic events as this.

Does it sound fishy to you ?? Any comments of above this....

Please note that the following explanation may be rather frank as it looks at it from a law enforcement/scientific approach. If it is out of place, then a moderator can remove/edit it if need be.

What you've been told does not sound fishy at all, and cardiac arrest is often the cause of death when it comes to injuries to other parts of the body. During the autopsy, the medical examiner not only looks for the cause of death, but the mechanism of death. For example, a victim of a gunshot doesn't necessarily die of the gunshot wound itself, but from internal bleeding. If that happens, the cause of death can be ruled as exsanguination (bleeding to death) and not necessarily the gunshot wound (although this was the cause of the bleeding).

In the case of your co-worker, you mention him being struck in the head. A head injury can cause several mechanisms of death, and cardiac arrest is one of those (as well as asphyxia as a head injury can lead to a stoppage of breathing).

I apologize if I'm being too frank, but wanted to point out that cardiac arrest is very common with head injuries, and it wouldn't be out of place for his death to be ruled as such. Regardless of the cause of death, it should still be ruled a homicide.

Btw, was the person or persons caught and apprehended by the police? Is there a link that you could supply us with on this, if not, that's ok...Please do hang in there!
