Last night i was watching our puppies and sophie the 3 year old was chasing after a toy and slide on a slab of granite we have in our house. the next thing i know i hear her yelping. i went over to see if she was ok and rolled her over check her over she started screaming worse so i carried her to my mom's bed where we waited till my parents got home. when my dad got home she went out to him but instead of running out there like a maniac and jumping on her chair she calmy walked out there and refused to jump when my dad picked her up to take her on the chair she yelped again we called the animal hospital and they said bring her in so we took her out to the car and she yelped while getting in when we arived at the hospital normally she would have been jumping all over everyone like the wild girl she is but she calmy sat there like the worlds best behaved dog. by this time even the doctor is worried about a fractured pelvis well to make a long story shorter she went home with pain meds and a sedaditive still not sure what but if she is still bad today there is another trip back to the hospital for x-rays and sedation to calm her down.

Please keep sophie in your thoughts i know it's alittle weird but sophie is more than a dog in this family she is truley a daughter to my parents and a sister to me. Thanks

thanks yea i'm getting ready to take her to the hospital again this time for x ray she's looking worse than yesterday so we'll see i'll up date you guys when we get home

Awww poor thing! I hope she is ok and she'll be in my thought! I hope it is nothing too serious. keep us posted!

God Bless you, Country gal and I will keep your puppy in my prayers.

My my....
hopefully your puppy will come recovery soon... Take meds seduction helps your puppy calmer ? Or... bring your puppy at the vet and give'em seduction ?
*curiouis*

As same my prevouis Bulldog puppy was broke the bone arm.. Yelped so loud and cries.. I don't know which one hurts.. I touch'em.. Tends bite me.. whoa.. i knew it was broken bone.. So Put tiny wood and wrapping up the banages. Help Bulldog puppy relaxation... which it's helped it lot.. Next day, I took bulldog puppy and to visit our vet and took xray and found out that 2 pieces broken. Vet asked me how ? I have no idea, how and what happend etc etc.. Let bulldog puppy stayed at the vet for overnight. I return home and asked my children, Can you be honest w/me pretty please and important to know what's going on bulldog puppy has broken arm. So Now explain me now.. My little son was told me about older bro and sister were fighting alike war.. OppiSe, heard crack.. that's all explained.. I gave an excuse for my little son go ahead watch t.v. I ask two children come and see me at the dining room.. Asked them why you're trying tug war ? Refused tell me.. *sigh*
Next day, I went to the hospital and explain to the vet.. said ahh that explain why isn't good idea.. Yeah I agreed.. and saw bulldog puppy wore the cast.. pretty intereting seen my eyes "whoa" breaking my heart.. I never seen dog wear cast..
Wear'em for 2 months.. finally better but funny thing, Bulldog puppy act alike rabbit running.. The new owner wanted that dog, I explained this dog was prevouis wore cast.. The owner understand but still want her.. okay.. They name her Rabbit.. LOL
Happy ending new home owner.. I miss Rabbit.. LOL

btw, hopefully your puppy's pelvis will goes heal real soon.. I'll pray for you...

Aww poor puppy, sure I'll keep her in my prayer....

Is there any chance that the 3 years old might stepped on the puppy's paws?

Lol the 3 yearold is the puppy she's only 3 which is what concerns us she still has a big life ahead of her. ummm yea they are sedating her as i post this for x-rays she will be there all day to make sure she comes of of the anistetic alright. we now know it's her left hip that is bothering her we are figuring that she landed on it while running around the corner and slipping on the granite. Right now all we can do is sit and wait and hope she's alright.

P.S it means alot to me and my family that you guys are praying for her she's such a special little girl i can't stand to watcher her go through this pain.

She came back from the hospital and is on major pain killers we are still not sure what's wrong but x rays came back normal so it's somthing to do with her muscles tendons or deep tissue

Well accidents happen and I am sure it wasn't nobody's fault so don't beat yourself about it Lil Gal, OK? in case you do :)

What is important there seem to be nothing broken and I am not sure but I think it's a good sign.

Hope your "puppy" is on the mend already :)

Fuzzy

Oh poor baby! Hope it is okay.

I know how you are feeling and your parents feeling. I have a puppy and I think of him as my son and I truely love him to death.

Hope your puppy is okay. Praying for your puppy!

I am kinda beating myself up but yea it's all good she's doing alot better today she's running and looking comfy on the pain pills

Awww girl, dont beat yourself up. You didnt do anything. It just happens. We all have our accidents and even our puppies too. We cant control it, things just happen when it is supposed to be. I am glad that your puppy feels better. Take care of her and she will be just fine in no time. :)

I am trying to understand how does that happen. A slab of granite outside of your house wall? Is it for a kitchen counter? I find hard to believe. Who built the slabs? Your husband or a professional service? Is the slab very heavy? Do you have a picture of the slab?

I hope that your puppy is feeling better. I am sorry to hear about your situation.

There is a slab of granite when you first walk in my door on the ground inlayed into the wood and our kitchen counter is grainte we bought the slabs we do live right next to "grainte city" waite park. the slab is very heavy it took 6 guys to put it in i don't have a picture of the grainte and it was put in by a perfessional. and oh yea No husband. i'm only 15

I'm glad to see your puppy is doing okay now. I would be worried too if I was in your place. Good to see that it all turns out for the better. ;)
